Passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Born in Charlottetown, PE, son of the late Angus and Florence (Lapthorne) Cameron, he was the last surviving member of his family. Lloyd will be greatly missed by his wife of fifty-six years, Diane (Rupert) Cameron; three daughters: Kim Evans, Alison (Dave) Eddy, Sara (Brian) Cogswell; one son, Randy Cameron (Kim Atwood); six grandchildren: Michelle, Jason, Owen, Gavin, James and Ella. Lloyd worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia for over forty years. He served in three Maritime provinces and retired from his career in 1988 from the Bedford, NS, branch. He was an avid gardener, reader, nature lover and a man of great faith. Respecting Lloyd's wishes, visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, October 2, from 1 - 3 p.m. A private family service and burial will be held at Fair Haven Cemetery.
