Arthur Frederick Carr “Fred” MacAUSLAND — Kensington

The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, of Fred MacAusland of Kensington, formerly of Sea View, aged 83 years. Son of the late Edward and Elizabeth MacAusland of Bloomfield. He is survived by his wife, Rita (Murphy) MacAusland; daughter, Marla Zeiler and predeceased by his son, Mark in March 2023. Loving grandfather of MacKenzie and Emma Zeiler, Luke (Jenna), Skye and Brynn MacAusland. Survived by his sister, Alberta (Jurgen-deceased) Schmitz; brothers, Allan (Erma Hardy), and Craig (Valerie); daughter-in-law, Arlene MacAusland; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Helen Muttart (Dale), Sylvia Kiff (David), Georgia Scott (Edward), Heather Moore (Neil), Glenda Murphy, Winnie Murphy and Janet Murphy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father-law and mother-in-law, Edwin and Glenn Murphy; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Murphy, Carl Murphy, Alan Carr, and Henry Scales and sisters-in-law, Lois Murphy and Lois Ann MacAusland. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No Visitation by personal request. Funeral Monday at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Irishtown at 2 p.m. and will be available to view online after 4 p.m. on the day of the funeral. Interment in St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Cemetery.
