The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday October 16, 2023 of C. Scott Paynter of Borden-Carleton, aged 77 years. Born in Summerside, January 14, 1946, son of the late Charles and Jean (Campbell) Paynter. Father of Andy (Ronda) Paynter and Julie Paynter. Grandfather of Keilan (Chett), Mira and Sage. Great-grandfather to Beau. Brother of Linda (George) Kohout, Carol (Alan) Vincent, Judy (Charles) MacKenzie, Darlene (Lawson) Dougay, Beryl (John) Bernard, Roger (Brenda), Dean (Sally), Dale (Patsy) and Duane (Tracey) Paynter. Lifelong friend of Albert (Joyce) Haslam. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No visitation or funeral service by personal request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment in the Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery.
