At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Monday, October 9, 2023, of Duncan B. MacKay of Hunter River and formerly of Breadalbane aged 93 years. Born in Kelvin Grove, April 15, 1930, son of the late John S. and Myrtle (Cole) MacKay. Husband of the late Audrey (Todd) MacKay and Olga (Ford) MacKay. Father of Todd (Cathy), Cindy (Kenny)- both deceased, Bruce (Debbie), Cleone (Ross), John S. (Ashley Shaw). Beloved “Grampie” to several grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Mary Jean MacKay. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson, Nathan; brothers, Rev. Lorne (Janet), Donald, Ken (Audrey), Wendall (Jean) and Leigh MacKay; sisters, Mary (Vernon Ferguson and Waldon Ferguson), Lois (John) Campbell and Ruth (Steve) Burns. Duncan’s Family wish to thank the staff of Rosewood Residence in Hunter River for the wonderful care he received there over the last several years. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Friday, October 13th from 1-2 p.m., immediately followed by the funeral service in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. and will be available to view online on the online death notice on the funeral home’s website.
