With great sadness, we share the passing of our Dad, John L. Read Sr., age 86 of Dunedin,, formerly of Borden, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, after a short illness. Predeceased by his loving wife, Anne (Jenkins). Father to John Jr., Karen (Rick) Cameron, Shelley (John Aten), and Joe (Karrissa MacKenzie). Grandfather of Christopher Read, Adam Cameron (Cassie), Matthew Cameron, Chelsea Cameron (Evan) and Lisa Manuel (Curtis). Survived by sister, Elizabeth (the late Gordon) Lehman. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Hazel (Embree) and brother George. John will be remembered by the Jenkins family, and numerous nieces and nephews. An informal Celebration of Life will be held in the Morrie Room at Maclean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday, October 24. Private interment to follow.
