The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on October 14, 2023 of Joyce A. (Harrington) Hunter of Indian River in her 80th year. Born in Spring Valley on July 30, 1943 daughter of the late Layton and Gladys Harrington. Loving mother of Donald (Marla) and Kevin (Mary) Hunter, all of Indian River. Loving grandmother to her four grandchildren Matthew (Maddy Rogers), Lydia (Dylan Garnhum), Kale and Cameron Hunter. Sister of Wayne (Shirley) Harrington, Spring Valley and Shawna (Ron) Johnstone, Burlington. Sister-in-law of Pauline Hunter, Indian River and Mary Hunter Calgary, AB. Aunt of Sandra (Scott MacDonald) Harrington, Dale Harrington, Susan Harrington, Robert Hunter, Mark Hunter and Kathy Harrison. Predeceased by her husband Carl, sister Darlyene Harrington, and brothers-in-law James Hunter and Earl Hunter. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. and will be able to view online by following the link on the funeral home’s online death notice.
