The death occurred at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, October 12, 2023, of Robert “Bob” Sherren of Nine Mile Creek, formerly of Sherwood, aged 84 years. Bob was born and raised in Crapaud, PEI, beloved son of the late Edward and Ella (Todd) Sherren. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Wanda (MacPhee) Sherren; his children, Keith, Mark, Ellen (Allison Macdonald), and Colin and his cherished grandchildren, Kailyn (Logan Cameron), Madelyn, and Jackson Sherren. He is also survived by his sister, Irene Sherren and his brothers, Jim and Charlie (Noreen) Sherren. Predeceased by his sister, Hazel (Troy) McDonald and his brother, Gordon (Brenda) Sherren. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, October 16, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Charlottetown. The funeral will be livestreamed through St. Paul's Anglican Church Facebook page. Interment to take place following the funeral service at St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery in Crapaud. A heartfelt thank you to the physicians and nursing staff at the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre and the Provincial Palliative Care Centre for the wonderful care provided to Bob. A special thank you to Winter Weatherbie and Kathryn Roberts from the Provincial Palliative Home Care Program for their outstanding home care support, and kindness shown to Bob over the past several months.
