Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Margaret Eileen Morrison, age 87 of Launching, devoted wife of the late Frederick Morrison, occurred with family by her side on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Born in Woodville Mills, September 18, 1936, daughter of the late Andrew and Marie (MacKinnon) Fitzpatrick. Eileen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Gerard (Susan), Judy (Stephen) Butler, Brian (Yvonne), Sharon (Darryl) Morrison; cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Evan, Kristopher, Carson, Allison, Breanna, Max, Jake, Reese and seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Norbert (Anne) Morrison. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday, October 18th from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, October 19th at 1 p.m., at St. George's Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the St. Georges Parish Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
