Aged 57, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2023 with her family by her side. Pam was the loving wife of Allan and devoted mother of Jasmine, Joelle, Julie, and Jaime. Proud daughter of Freda and the late Jack Gallant, daughter-in-law of the late Eleanor and Gerald Tierney. Sister of Linda (Stephen), and Alana (Bill) and sister-in-law of Geralyn (Noel), Ken (Connie), Kathleen (Peter), Emmett, Jane, Mary (Scott) and Joanne. Pam is also survived by her large and wonderful circle of extended family and friends. In her twenties, Pam studied at the Culinary Institute, which gave her the skills to cook beautiful food. Many people have fond memories of sharing laughs and stories over meals lovingly made by her. Thirty years ago, she married the love of her life, Allan. As they started their family, Pam knew she’d want to stay at home to raise their children. The thing she excelled at above all else was being a Mom. She did this remarkably well until the end of her life. Pam appreciated the beauty in life, and surrounded herself with her favourite things: flowers, art, books, the beach, and delicious food. She was excellent company and a great conversationalist—she loved spending time with other people and showed genuine interest in everyone. She had a unique ability to make everyone in her life feel loved and listened to. It’s those qualities she will be remembered by, and deeply missed for. A Celebration of Life will be held at the North Rustico Lions Club on Friday October 20th from 2-5 P.M. We encourage everyone to dress colourfully, as Pam would have wanted. In lieu of flowers or donations please consider giving the gift of life by registering for organ, bone marrow, or tissue donation.
