The death occurred at his late residence in Charlottetown, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, of Robert Ford, husband of the late Anna Ford (MacDonald), formerly of Ebenezer, aged 82. Robert is survived by his children, Catherine Darlene (Brendon McCloskey), and Heather; and “favourite and only grandchild,” Katie Anna Ryan. He is also survived by sisters, Katheryn Mason and Nancy Allan (Donnie); nieces and nephews, Wade Mason, Robert Mason, Kathy Mossman and David MacDonald; and neighbour and friend, Vera Vail. Besides his wife Anna, Robert was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Katie (Gass) Ford; and brother, Allan Ford. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, October 17th from 5-8 p.m. The funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, October 18th at 11 a.m. The funeral will be recorded and uploaded later to the Central Queen’s Funeral Home Facebook page.
