The death occurred peacefully with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, of Shirley Harding (Bursey) aged 74 years. Born in Bishop Falls, Newfoundland, daughter of the late Ford and Louise Bursey. Beloved wife of Paul Harding of Charlottetown and formerly of Darnley. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Kim (Mike) and Karen and her step-son, Clifton (Melanie). She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy; mother-in-law, Dorothy Harding and sisters-in-law, Kaye and Carla (Richard). Also remembered by many well-loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Friday, from 1 - 2:30 p.m., immediately followed by the funeral in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. which will be available to view online by following the link on the funeral home’s website.
