It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Shirley Marguerite Kirkland, formally of Toronto, ON, age 91 years, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Dear mother of Janice (Darryl) Bradley, Brenda (Joe) Carter and the late Michael, and our father, Harold Kirkland. Loving Nana of Jason (Sandra), Nicole (John), Courtney (Dan) and Matt (Chantal), and eight great- grandchildren Emma, Aaron (mother Nicole), Micah, Finn, Ben, Blake, Marco, and Massimo. With special thanks to all the nurses and doctors in Unit 3 who cared for our Mom with dignity and love, and provided a glass of wine when she asked! Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home.
