The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 of Arnold “Arnie” Kaland of Summerside, age 83. Arnie was born in Bergen, Norway to the late Johan and Amalie Kaland. Beloved husband of Germaine Kaland (Perry) and loving father of Scott Kaland. Survived by his brother John Kaland, sister Karin Kaland and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Elsie Kaland. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting or funeral service held. A private graveside service will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date.
