Deborah Marian "Debbie" Moore (Whelan) of New Dominion, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, age 76 years. Loving wife and best friend of Del Moore, devoted mother of Kathleen Descarie-Chmait (Issam) and Emily Descarie (Bernie Hope), and cherished Nanny of Maddy Galway (Damon), Youssef Chmait, Sara Chmait, and Sophia Galway. Survived by her siblings, Patrick Whelan, Jennifer Whelan, and Mary (Stewart) Bruce; brothers-in-law, Winston Fudge and Roger Moore; sister-in-law, Lois Moore. Aunt Debbie will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Anita (Preston) Whelan; sister, Maureen Fudge and infant brother, John. The family extends their gratitude to the wonderful group of Home Care staff for their compassionate care. What great people they are. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday November 17, 2023, from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Hampshire Cemetery. Flowers will be provided by the family.
