At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Garth MacKay, 84, of Montague, loving husband of 45 years to Marjorie (Semple) MacKay, occurred on Friday, November 3, 2023. Born in Charlottetown, February 28, 1939, a son of the late Harry and Margaret (Wilson) MacKay. Survived by siblings, Doug (Linda) MacKay, Joyce (Leigh) Craig, Wayne (Wendy) MacKay, Keith (Treena) MacKay; sister-in-law Nancy MacKay; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by stepson, Paul Robb; brothers, Basil MacKay, Allison MacKay; sister, Edith (Fred) Townsend; sister-in-law Barbara MacKay. By personal request no visiting hours. Graveside service to take place on Tuesday, November 7, at 4 p.m. Union Road Cemetery, all family and friends are welcome.
