The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 23, 2023, of Gerald Russell “Gerry” Allan, of Charlottetown, formerly of Stanhope, age 72 years. Son of the late Russell and Margaret Allan. Survived by his chosen family Betty Begg-Brooks, her children Darlene Walker, Kelly Lynn Melanson, Edwin Douglas Melanson Jr., and Mary Elizabeth Melanson, their families, and friend Evelyn Monkley and family. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in West Covehead Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
