At the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 the death occurred of John Watson Higgins, formerly of Charlottetown, age 81 years. Loving father of Brenda Lee Couillard (Yves), Amanda Burke (Tommy), Angela Murrin and Aaron Higgins (Juli-Anne). Cherished grandfather of Devon, Denise, Avalon, Addison, Carlee, Madison and Eveada and great-grandfather of Ariya, Aurora and Archur. John will be remembered by his sisters-in-law, Bertha Higgins and Bridget Higgins; and by his nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Lois (Warren) Higgins; fiance, Verna MacKinnon; and brothers, Barry, Donald and Ronald. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. Completion of arrangements will be announced and held in the summer. Interment will take place later at Lower Montague Cemetery.
