Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on early Tuesday morning on November 7 of Sister Mary Byrne formerly from Howe Island, Ontario, aged 94 years. Fondly remembered by her Martha Sisters, especially her community members on third floor of the Mount Continuing Care Community. She is also remembered by her only surviving sister, Helen Ernest, of Hamilton; and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Mary Blanche; her sisters, Betty and Theresa and her brothers, Bernard, John, Lawrence and Michael. Special appreciation to Sr. Helen Foley and the staff and Sisters on third floor of the Mount Continuing Care Community for their constant care and assistance. Resting at the Mount chapel on November 10, from 1:30-2:20 p.m., followed by her Funeral Mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the Sisters of St. Martha Cemetery.
