The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Sunday, December 3, 2023, of Allan “Apple” Costello, of Rustico, aged 66. He was the son of the late Norbert and Theresa (Arsenault) Costello. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Nellie Buote (Clint); grandchildren, Odin Apple Chappell and Skye Deanna Chappell; and by his feathered friend, “Blossom”. He is also survived by his siblings, Melvin (Marilyn), Jimmy, Martin (David), Colleen (Maria), Carol (David), Marilyn (Pius) and Annette (Lee); and numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Saturday, December 9, from 1-3 p.m. There will be no funeral by personal request.
