Barbara Ann (Mahoney) Noonan, age 87, passed away peacefully at SerenaCare in Moncton early Saturday morning, December 16, 2023. She was born on April 25, 1936, to the late John J. Mahoney and Madelyn (Miller) Mahoney in Saint John, NB. She graduated from St. Vincent’s Girls’ High School and was then employed by the Canada Revenue Agency for several years. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Dr. James S. Noonan; daughter Jill Noonan (David), and grandson, Matthew Noonan of Moncton, NB; her sister. Suzanne Simms of Quispamsis, NB; Arthur Noonan (Leslie), Summerside, PE, and sisters-in-law, Geraldine Grant (Gerald), Summerside, PE, Marjorie Lecky (George), Summerside, PE; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, John Mahoney; brothers-in-law, John Noonan and Gregory Noonan; and sisters-in-law, Shirley (Noonan) Keil and Pauline (Noonan) MacPhee. As per Barbara's wishes, a small family mass will take place at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Her ashes will be interred in the spring at St. Paul's cemetery in Summerside, PE.
