The death occurred at Moncton City Hospital on Thursday, December 7, 2023 of Edward James Sharbell of Portage aged 62, loving husband of Christine (nee Richie). Edward was born in Summerside on November 17, 1961, dear son of the late J. Edward and Ruby (Curley) Sharbell. Cherished brother to Colleen Sharbell, Linda Sharbell and Larry (Charlene) Sharbell. Dear brother in law to Kevin Smith, Marie MacLeod (Michael) and Sandy Draper. Edward will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. Edward was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Marilyn (Ralph) Enman and Christine Smith; brothers, Blake and Dale; and brother in law, Kevin Bowser. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday at 1p.m. in the Chapel. Interment in St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Foxley River. In honour of Edward, you are welcome to wear jeans and a hoodie.
