On Monday, December 18, 2023, Flora "Lorraine" Lanigan (MacDonald), age 88, passed away in St. Vincent’s Nursing Home, Halifax. Born July 25, 1935, daughter of the late Artemas and Alice (Graham) MacDonald. Loving wife of the late Terrance "Rudy" Lanigan. Lorraine is survived by her beloved daughter, Trudy (David) Campbell, Halifax; cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Mark Campbell, Halifax; brother, Graham A. MacDonald; Double first cousin, Florence Glover; nephew, Graham J. MacDonald; sister-in-law, Elaine MacDonald; brothers-in-law, William "Bill" (Marion) Lanigan and Neil Lanigan; sisters-in-law, Yvonne (Jazz) Poirier and Kay Grant. Besides her parents; and husband; Lorraine was predeceased by a sister in infancy, Eunice MacDonald; sister, Ruth MacSwain; brother, John MacDonald; brothers-in-law, Gabriel "Buddy" Lanigan, Blair MacSwain and Remegius Grant; sister-in-law, Rita Lanigan; and Alder Glover. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 22, at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
