After a short illness, Jeannie passed peacefully and went to be with her Lord, surrounded by her son Greg at the PEI Palliative Care Centre on December 11, 2023. Born in Mount Stewart October 4, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Rita MacDonald (Ross). Lovingly remembered by her husband, David Yeo; her sons, Greg (Cheryl) Feehan and Robbie (Mary Joy) Feehan; her grandchildren, Erin (Alex) Feehan, Rebecca Feehan and Andrew Feehan; her stepsons, David and Robert (Emily) Yeo and families; her brothers-in-law, Raymond (Lillian) Feehan and John (Norma) Yeo; sister-in-law, Betty (Marv) Matson; plus many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved and was loved by all. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Rita Ross; her infant son, Trevor Feehan; her brother, Donald (Joyce) Ross; her sisters, Margret (Harry) Hughes and Adele (Gerry) Arsenault. On behalf our dear Jeannie, the family would like to acknowledge Father Eric Dunn, Dr. Andrew Wohlgemut, the staff at the QEH, the staff of PEI Palliative Care Centre, as well as friends and family who provided their unconditional support during this difficult time. Jean is resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. There will be no visitation by personal request. The funeral will be held at The Holy Redeemer in Charlottetown on Monday, December 18th at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Vincent de Paul would be appreciated.
