It is with the heaviest of hearts, the family of Joseph Edward “Skip” Sauvé, age 75, announce his passing which occurred peacefully at his residence and surrounded by much love on Friday, December 22, 2023. He’s forever loved by his children Joel, Marla (Brian Deveau), Logan and Leah. In addition, he is survived by their mother Rosemary Sauvé and extended members of the MacDonald family who were so loving to Skip over the years. Skip was a fun-loving grandfather to Arabella and he cherished every moment he spent with her. He was born in Penetanguishene, ON, and is the youngest of thirteen siblings. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Audrey, along with siblings Ron, Elaine, Mary Lou, Eugene, Diane, Tommy and Godson and nephew Lance Mingo. By personal request, there will be no funeral services. If so desired, donations in memory of Skip can be made to the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Souris Home Care) or KidSport PEI.
