Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, of Joseph Leonard McKenna of Charlottetown, age 84 years. Beloved husband of Mary McKenna (nee. LeClair). Joe will be fondly remembered by his many foster children over the years, as well as Lillian Cheverie and her children, Macayla and Brianna. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law, Eric (Judy dec.) LeClair and their children Joan, Eric and Michael. Joe was a big part of many family circles over the years, and he will be fondly remembered and missed by the MacDonald Family, the Kelly Family, the McInnis Family, the Gallant Family and the LeClair Family. He was predeceased by his "Ma", Genevieve MacDonald; Grace McIntosh, and brother and sisters-in-law Jack and Sadie LeClair. Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held from Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 6, at 2 p.m. No visitation by request. Interment will be held at a later date.
