Linda Anne ROACH — Montague

With great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Linda Anne Roach age 56, of Montague, occurred on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Born in Charlottetown, September 5, 1967, a daughter of the late Elijah and Estelle (Power) Roach. Survived by her pride and joy of her life, sons, Colin and Riley; brother, Robert (Susan); nieces, Amy, Sherry, Victoria; nephews, Ian, Dwane, Cory; great-nieces and nephews; great, great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister, Lorraine. Linda was well known in her communities, as a mentor, organizer and supporter. Her involvement in numerous charities and clubs has touched so many people, her friendly smile will always be remembered. As a long-term kindergarten teacher in Vernon River, Linda was often a child’s first welcoming introduction to school. Many students will recall her kind words and support as they made that first day transition. Linda herself continued her education, always working to better herself achieving her masters in 2019, proud graduation moment. Outdoors was her happy place, fresh air and beaches. Linda’s life was filled with activities, every moment purposeful. Whether it was sporting events, curling, running, community events, fund-raising or her family. She loved to travel and her circle of friends was ever expanding. A Celebration of Life to be held on Wednesday, December 20, from 4-8 p.m., in Montague Curling Club, everyone is welcome to honour her memory.
