Peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2023, Lynn Elizabeth Loftus, loving wife of Brian MacPherson, AKA “The Handsome Prince”, passed away surrounded by her family. Born in Moncton, NB on May 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Dorilla (Gallant) Loftus. In addition to her husband of 28 years, she is survived by her daughters, Michelle MacCallum (Michael Stanley), Jillian MacCallum Sproul (John MacDonald) and Bryn MacCallum; stepsons, Brad MacPherson (Cat) and Dean MacPherson (Allison); cherished grandchildren, Naomi, Emmeline, Kali, Owen, AJ, Caelan, Declan, Ella, Robbie (Kayla), Sydney (Joe), Alana, Jaya and Dimitri; brother, David Loftus (Debbie); sister, Gail Ross (Wayne); and several nieces and nephews. Lynn was a dedicated volunteer, she volunteered for the Alzheimer’s Society for 30 years. She was the past president of the PEI Alzheimer’s Society and served on many committees across Canada for the Alzheimer’s Society. Lynn was a volunteer with IODE and a dedicated Queen of the Red Hat Society. She had a passion for writing, photography, traveling and the beach. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, especially her treasured Golden Girls. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Wednesday, December 13 from 4-7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 14 at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Lynn may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
