The death occurred peacefully at Andrew of Summerside, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 of Teresa Bernard (Arsenault) of Summerside, PE and formerly of Harmony Road, PE, age 96. Teresa was born in Summerside to the late Fidele and Elizabeth Arsenault (Gallant). Beloved wife of the late David Bernard and loving mother of Keir (Leona) Bernard, Eugene (Debbie) Bernard, Brenda and Bonnie Bernard, Joan (Tommy) Blikslagen, David (Patsy) Bernard, Ann Hughes, Patrick (Peggy) Bernard. Also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister-in-law Theresa Arsenault and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Beatrice (Nicholas) Bulger, Alice (Alban) LeBlanc, Margaret (Camille) Gaudet, Mary (Earl) Leddy, Ann (Charles) Nicol, Frank (Julia) Arsenault, Ben Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, December 4th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Donations in Teresa’s memory can be made directly to the charity of your choice. Visiting hours on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
