On Sunday, December 17, 2023, surrounded by her family in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown the death occurred peacefully of Nanette Louise Trainer (Cook) of Stratford, formerly of Montague, age 87 years. Loving mother of Karen Gosley, Tom MacLeod (Cathy), Wendy Foster (Bob), Lorianne Davies (Angus) and Gregory Trainor (Jodie). Nanette will be lovingly remembered by her twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sister of Billy Cook (Judy) and Dolena Buell. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Christine (MacLennan) Cook; her husbands, Edison MacLeod and Lawrence “Larry” Trainor; and by her sister, Aileen MacLure (Arnold). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21, at 1 pm. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Interment will take place later at Montague Community Park Cemetery.
