Peacefully after a brief illness at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, December 9, 2023 of Sandra Mary Hucz (nee Hood) of Cornwall, formerly of Charlottetown age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Thad ‘‘Ted’’ Hucz. Dear mother of Chris (Judy) and Tania McIntosh (Roger); much loved grandmother of Kassidy McIntosh (Ronnie MacDonald); sister of Robin Hood (Judy), Elaine Fagan (Francis), Gaye Hood (Bonnie), Brian Hood, Billy Hood (Kathy), Leo Hood ((Debbie), Wesley Hood (Pauline), Orwest Hood, Clayton Hood and Joanne MacPherson (Gary); sister-in-law of Krystyna Morrison (Hubert dec.). Sandra is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Viola Hood, father and mother-in-law, Teodor and Kathryn Hucz and brothers, Harvey (Bella) and Wendell "Butch" (Pat). Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Wednesday, December 13th from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday, December 14th with funeral mass from St. Dunstan's Basilica at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Eugene's Parish Cemetery, Covehead.
