April 4, 1947 – December 14, 2023. The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on December 14, 2023, of Vera Gallant of Summerside, PEI and formerly of British Columbia, at 76 years of age. Vera came home to Summerside in 2017. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Giesbrecht; parents, Ted and Julia Gallant (Arsenault); her brother, Richard; and brother-in-law, Ron Rolls. Survived by her children, Vikki, Julie, and Philip Powers; and siblings, LeRoy (Natalie) Amanda Rolls, Mel, Janet (André) Brochu, Vince, Paula Williamson, and Victor. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside, PE.
