It is with heavy hearts the family of Wendy Coleen Sherren, of Balderson, ON, announces her passing on Sunday, December 10, 2023, in Crapaud, PEI. Wendy is mourned by her loving parents, Elwin and Elsie (MacDonald) Sherren; her partner, Jo Minnie; and their loving daughter, Jessica Minnie; best friend and little sister of, Vivian Sherren (special friend Tommy Sheridan); nieces, Amanda Sherren Holm, Jacqueline Matte and Andrea Bridges; nephews, Trevor Sherren Holm, Matthew Cholock and Nicolas Matte; and her fur babies, ChiChi, Sophie, George, Rex and Crew. Born in Charlottetown, PEI in 1955, she lived in Crapaud for most of her juvenile years and lived in Ontario most of her adult life. Wendy was the most loving, kind, and generous soul. She brought joy and love to everyone she touched. The “life of the party”, with a twinkle in her eye and mischief on her mind. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown, PEI. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitations. Funeral will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Crapaud, PEI, on Thursday, December 21 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Catherine Pharo officiating. As per her wishes, Wendy’s ashes and final resting places will be between St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery (Crapaud, PEI) and St. George’s Anglican Church Cemetery (Parrsboro, NS). There will be a Tribute to Wendy held at the Crapaud Curling Club on Friday, December 22 at 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations, in Wendy’s memory may be made to the PEI Humane Society or St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
