Peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, January 11, 2024 of Amelia Mary Jabbour (nee Taweel) of Charlottetown in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph ‘‘Joe’’ Jabbour. Dear mother of Roger (Kim), Barbara, David (Leslee), John and Jo-Anne. Loving and proud Sitty of James (Zafirah), Daniel, Isaiah, Kaylee, Alex, Matthew, Amelia, Andrew, Alyse, Joseph; and great-grandmother to Georgia. Sister of Solomon (Vera) Taweel, Hanna Ghiz, Peter Taweel, Paul (Barbara) Taweel, Helen (Ray) Travers, Abdullah (Karen) Taweel; and sister-in-law of Lila Taweel. Predeceased by her parents, Nakaad and Badia Taweel; daughter, Linda Catherine; brothers, James Taweel, Mel Taweel; brother-in-law, George Ghiz; sister-in-law, Diane Taweel; and son-in-law, Kent Crane. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to her private caregiver, Mary Ellen Morrison, the Provincial Home Care, the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Dr. MacLaren, Dr. Lecours and everyone who provided loving care to our dear mom. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 16th from 3-7 p.m. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 17th from St. Peter's Cathedral at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery.
