1954-2024. Passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, January 8, 2024 at the age of 69. Beloved son of the late Jack and Doris MacKinnon. Survived by sisters, Beryl (Percy) James, London, ON, Kaye (Edward) Terry London, ON and Beth (Harvey) Doane, Fall River NS. Blaine’s adoring brother, Lea passed away in 2017. Nieces and nephews include, Cory Bell, Cara (Bell) Marshall, Heidi (Bell) MacRae (d. 2009), Darcy Terry, James Terry, Dana James and Terri (James) Andrianopoulos. Blaine’s family wants to thank the many people who enriched his last months, Dr. Magennis, Staff at Kings County Hospital, the Professionals who provided care in his home, Meals on Wheels, his visitors and his excellent neighbour, Dena. The staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital offered all we could have hoped for in end of life care. Funeral service will be held at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:30 pm. Tea and coffee will be served after the service. If so desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
