The death occurred peacefully in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, of Frances Coburn (Decker), beloved wife of Drew Coburn, of Stanley Bridge, age 76. Frances was the mother of Heather Coburn (Stephen Brun), the late Gregory Coburn, and two children that passed in infancy. She is also survived by her sister, Eleanor Hora (Richard Deaton); and numerous cousins and relatives across North America. Besides her son, Gregory, and her two children in infancy, Frances was predeceased by her parents, David and Rosaline (Powell) Decker; and brother, David. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, January 17, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The funeral will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
