At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, January 6, 2024, Gary Raymond Gormley of Murray Harbour passed peacefully with his loving wife of 54 years, Audrey Gormley (nee Jamieson) by his side. He was born on September 24, 1947, to parents Bruce and Emerentienne (Savoie) Gormley. Left to mourn this great loss are his children, Tracy Jenkins (Billy), Dwayne, Evan, and Brad (Cara). His cherished grandchildren, Brea, Dakota, Jamieson, Maggie, Brock and Corbin. His siblings, Marilyn Kurnell and Ronnie Gormley; sister-in-law, Trudy Condon; special aunt, Ida Vreeling; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; brother, Ricky Gormley; parents-in-law, Alfred and Mildred Jamieson; and infant sister, Judy. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Monday, January 15th, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday, January 16th at St. Mary's Church, Montague, at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery in the spring.
