The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on January 12, 2024 of George MacLeod of Beach Point. Lovingly remembered by his wife Vera, son Derrick (Kim), daughter Christine (Barry Jackson), granddaughters Shelby (Craig Myers) and Abby (Dean Carroll), his best buddy and great grandson Derrick. Visiting hours will take place at the Southern King’s & Queen’s Funeral Home from 2 to 5 pm on Wednesday, January 24 followed by a service to celebrate George’s life on Thursday, January 25 at 2 pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment later at Murray Harbour Cemetery. Donations in George's memory can be made to the Kings County Memorial Hospital or Ducks Unlimited Canada.
