The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Andrew’s of Summerside, on Sunday, December 31, 2023, of Irma (MacNeill) Curley, of Summerside and formerly of Norboro, aged 88 years. Born in New Annan, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Ellen (Keough) MacNeill. Survived by her children, Terry (Shelley) Curley, Claude (Diana) Curley, Darryl (Roseann) Curley, Beth (Jason) MacDougall, Angela (Dean) Arsenault and Anne (Jason) Inman; grandchildren, Jody (Chris) Howard, Derrick (Katelyn) Curley, Kassia Curley (Chee Ng), Colton Curley (Julia Skinner), Lillia Curley, Alex Curley, Laura MacDougall, Jayde (Jack) Kraft, Sarah Inman and David Inman; great-grandchildren, Avery Howard, Niall Curley, Bria Curley, and Ethan Howard; sisters, Sr. Joan MacNeill, Ellen MacNeill, and Lois MacNeill (Pierre Gregorie); and by sister-in-law Lorna Curley. Predeceased by her husband Patrick "Pat" Curley; grandson, Jamie Curley; sisters, Mildred Croken and Leonore (John Luc) Chaleux; brother, Edgar (Barb) MacNeill; sister-in-law, Wanda (Fenner) Stewart; and by a brother-in-law, Boyd Curley. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. James Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Summerfield.
