The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 28, 2023, of James “Allan” MacIsaac, aged 85, of Hunter River, and formerly Summerside and Central Bedeque. Loving father to Michael (Trudy), Lori (Eldon) Gallant, and Kelley (Shawn) Power; and grandfather to Greg (Danielle), Mason, Owen, Tyler, and Madison. Brother and in-law to Barry (Pat), Garth (Bonnie), John (Wilma), Ellen (Peter) Henderson, Mary (Darryl) Nauss, Jimmy (Janet), Terry (Debi), Mac (Rosemary), Donnie (Kathryn) Bell, and Darlene Arsenault. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Allan is reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Audrey (Bell); and parents, Emmett and Margaret (Kenny) MacIsaac. He was predeceased by his father and mother-in law, Frank and Cottie (Bradshaw) Bell; and sisters and in-laws, Marjorie (MacIsaac) Johnson, Bud and Rosalie (MacIsaac) Folland, Allen Bell, Bobby Bell, Wendell and Mary Bell, and Eldon Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Visitation on Wednesday, January 3, 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral service to be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 4, 11 a.m. Interment to follow at a later date in the Searletown Cemetery.
