The death occurred, at the home of her son, in Darlington, on January 2, 2024, of Jean Amanda LeClair, formerly of Inverness, aged 93. Jean was born in Inverness on October 1, 1930, daughter of the late George and Louise (Hardy) Coughlin. Loving mother to Larry LeClair, Darlington, and Joe LeClair (Trisha), Dartmouth, NS. Adoring grandmother to, Tania Hansen Foreman (Bruce), Ayr, Ontario, Della LeClair (Colin), Glenfanning, Amanda LeClair, St. John, NB, Patrick LeClair (Vanessa), Halifax, NS, and two great-grandchildren, Blake Foreman and Bradley Foreman, Ayr, ON, and Atticus, Dartmouth, NS. Dear sister to Dorothy MacDougall, Hazel Fitzgerald, Everett Coughlin, Florence (Lawson) Adams, Lillian Cooper and she will be missed by countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she loved along her journey. Predeceased by parents, husband Peter; sons, Michael (Trisha), Stephen, beloved sister, Ruth; brothers, Peter, James, Russell, William, Raymond and Ronald. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visitation Friday, January 5th, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 6th, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock.
