Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Born in Charlottetown, PE on May 3, 1966, he was a son of the late Flora Graham and Hollis Corney. JR worked as a computer technician in the private sector before moving into provincial then federal government, where he enjoyed his work family. He loved woodworking, gardening, cooking, dogs, especially his dog Midnight, and enjoyed his travels over the years. He is survived by his brothers, Delmar Corney and Athol Corney and extended family. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel. Interment will take place in Breadalbane Peoples Cemetery. Donations in memory of JR may be made to the PEI Humane Society, the QEH Foundation, Cancer Research, or the charity of choice.
