Marie CAMERON (Perry) — Summerside

The death occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, of Marie (Perry) Cameron, of Summerside, in her 90th year. Born in Charlottetown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ida (Arsenault) Perry. Survived by her children, Heather (Anthony) Irving, Colleen (James) Davis, Jocelyn, and Cory (Denise); grandchildren, Cameron Davis (Danae Iatrou-Davis), Chelsey Davis, Brittney (Dylan) Harpin, Michael (Jessica), Stacey and Jason; great-grandchildren, Colton, Kiptyn and Alyx; and by her sister, Dorothy Lecky. Predeceased by her husband Charles “Cam” Cameron. Marie was a very special lady who grew up in the community of Summerside. Marie spent her life dedicated to serving her community through her family Restaurant businesses, Andy’s Sea Foods, and Gentleman Jim’s. Marie was a hard-working lady, whose hospitality reached many and who knew everyone who walked through the door. Marie loved people and tried to give back as much as she could to all that came to know her. Marie felt blessed by everyone in her life. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, January 30, 2024, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Boys and Girls Club of Summerside would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
