It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Nora Noonan on January 3, 2024, at the age of 91. Nora’s kindness and generosity made a lasting imprint on the lives of those fortunate enough to cross paths with her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness and cherished memories. Born in Chelton, PEI, on August 19, 1932, she later made her home in Searletown and later in Borden-Carleton and lived a purposeful life filled with love. She was a daughter of the late Coleman and Jessie (Wheeler) Rogers. Lovingly remembered by her children, Adele (Doug) Ryan, Eldon (Dale), Barbara (Gordon) Reeves, Clarence (Wanda), June Noonan, Joan (Mike) Roberts, Garth Noonan and Sharon Croken. Her absence will be deeply felt by her 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Fran Graff, Ontario and sister-in-law, Lillian Rogers, Summerside Predeceased by her husband, Douglas; son, Robert; daughter-in–law, Linda and by parents, Coleman and Jessie (Wheeler) Rogers. Also predeceased by brothers and sisters, Ruth (Fred MacDonald); Olive (Jim Muttart), Freda (Duncan Watson), Aldon (Betty) Rogers, Gerry (Rogers), Barbara Joan (Fred LeBlanc); Margie (Marius Parent) and brother-in-law, Ward Graff. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora for visiting hours on Sunday, January 7, from 1 to 6 p.m. Please be scent free. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay on Monday, January 8, at 10:30 a.m. Donations in Nora’s memory can be made to St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery Fund.
