The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, January 20, 2024, of Teresa “Terry” Rose (Bataller) MacEwen, of Summerside, age 91. Born in New Waterford, NS, she was the daughter of the late Juan and Leone (Schlesser) Bataller. Survived by her sons, Blake and Derek; grandchildren, Megan, Dylan, Brett, and Niki; and by her sister, Leona (Roger) Desjardin. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth MacEwen; son, Robert “Bob” MacEwen; sisters, Rosita Haggart and Dolly McMullen-Roy; brother, John Bataller; and by her sister-in-law, Ruth Lank. Terry and Ken moved to Summerside in 1964. As members of the Kinsman and Kinettes, they contributed to the community for many years, while generating lifelong friendships along the way. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
