The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Thomas “Tom” Edward O'Grady Jr. on January 16th, 2024, at the age 73 years. He will be missed by his loving wife, Doreen; his sister, Alice (Cyril); his brothers, Jerry (Louise), Dennis (Stella), and Greg (Bruce); his sister-in-law, Bonnie; as well as his many nieces and nephews. Tom is predeceased by his parents, Alice (Sheene) and Tom Sr.; and his brothers, Mike and Gerard (Bonnie). Tom will also be missed by his many friends and bandmates, especially Lester and Louie, and his special workmate, Karen. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17th from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19th at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Donations in Tom's memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI, Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and Canadian Mental Health Association of Prince Edward Island.
