George passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the age of 72 years. Best friend and husband of Charlene (McIntyre) Coade and beloved father of Amanda Coade, Kitchener, ON, Janna Amirault (Gord), Selkirk, MB, Lindsey Watt (Lee), Suffolk, PE, and Brent Coade (Helena Wood), Suffolk Road, PE. Cherished Grampie to Ayla and Caitlin Warren, Sophie and Zoey Amirault, Charlotte, Joseph, Koen and Ivy Watt and Cash Coade. Brother of Dorothea Ellsworth (Emmett), Donalda McGuire (Jerry), Harold Coade (Alva), Valerie Arsenault, special foster brother of Alfred Oikle and fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins and his large extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary (MacDonald) Coade and father and mother-in-law, Valentine and Ada McIntyre. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday, February 6, then transferred to St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be at a later date.
