A loving and devoted husband of the late Carolyn (Hovey) Scott passed peacefully at the Palliative Care Centre on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Born in Fredericton, NB, on June 19, 1947, he was the son the late Earl and Dorothy (Reynolds) Scott. He is survived by his children, Greg Scott (Rachel), Seattle, Washington, and Alison Scott (Jeff Dohoo), of Charlottetown; cherished grandchildren, Carter, Charlotte, Ethan, Oliver, Ian, and Emmy; sister, Heather Scott-Goddard (Steven), of Seattle, Washington; and extended family members. Jim and Carolyn shared a deep love for each other, that could be seen by all who knew them. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and loved to spoil his grandchildren. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Fredericton, NB.
