It is with heavy hearts and an appreciation for a life well lived that the family of Joan Catherine Campbell announces her peaceful passing at Andrews of Stratford on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 81 years. Joan was born in Fredericton, NB, on July 2, 1942, to the late Alyre Thomas and Thelma Bernice (nee Magee) Arsenault. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Hugh Campbell. She is survived by her loving children, Trevor (Carolyn), Don (Sheri), and Colleen VanIderstine (Ryan); cherished grandchildren, Rachel Campbell (Jeremy), Erica Campbell, Caelan Campbell, Amber Campbell, Arielle Vanlderstine (Oskar) and Hayley VanIderstine (Evan); and brother, Donald Arsenault of Stewiacke, NS (Margaret – deceased). Lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11th from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 12th at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Kellys Cross in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of PEI or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
