The death occurred peacefully with family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, February 1, 2024, of Louise Anne Rooney of Charlottetown, age 76 years. Loving mother of Connie (Jason) Macdonald and Lee (Shehla) and Granny/Mamaw of Emma (Jacob) Walsh, Abby Macdonald, Sophie, Gabe and Lila Rooney. Lovingly remembered by her siblings, Robert, Kirk (Debbie), Roger, Mary (Layton) Johnston and Arthur (Kim); sisters-in-law, Joan Hickox, Mary Hickox and Imelda Rooney; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Marion) Rooney, and their families. Predeceased by her parents, Eldon and Phoebe Hickox; brothers, Frank and Donald; and sisters-in-law, Margaret and Claire. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Monday at 11 a.m. from Central Christian Church. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. No visitation by personal request.
