The death occurred on February 24, 2024, at the Atlantic Baptist Home of Mildred Gail Morris, beloved partner of Capt. (Ret) S. Paul Weatherbie. Born in Moncton, NB, on November 23, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Dora (Trowsdale) Morris. In addition to her loving partner Paul, she is survived by her brother, William “Bill” Morris; nephews, Andrew Morris and Allison Morris; stepsons, Neil Weatherbie and Rod Weatherbie. After graduating from UPEI with a bachelor’s degree, Millie became a staff member of the Registration Office and after 35 years of service, Millie retired giving us 10 years to ourselves. Millie had many friends among her fellow staff members the PEI Regiment Officers Mess, the Churchill Arms where Millie and Paul spent many great times. Millie will be missed by many, but manly by Paul, Millie was the love of his life. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. There will be no visitation of funeral service at this time.
